We're starting from the bottom. At first I make my new case. Wooh.

Now I go into the Character Database and make up my character.

There we go. All the infos added.
But wait, what's this?? Can't find the sprite? Ofcourse not! We didn't add it to the database! Silly us.
Now we click create and next is the folder-work.

Now we go into the "Projects" folder. This folder has all your cases in it.

Hey look! It's our case! We go in here.

We want to edit characters. We go into that folder, ayup.

Now here comes the "tricky?" part. Remember that we made the Display Name "Manella"? This means we need to make a folder called "Manella".

In here we place our .gif files. This, also, needs to be called "Manella". The animations name work like this:
*DISPLAY NAME (Manella)* + Expression + ("_T") + ".gif"
Our default Manella sprite would then be named:
"Manella" + (no expression) + (not talking) + ".gif" aka "Manella.gif".

Now we want his talking pose. We name this the same as the non-talking except we add "_T" after it.

Let's see how it looks in the maker.

Oh my! It's working!

Tadaa! Hope it helped.

well with the transparancy when you're done with all the frames of the sprite make a color the white area that does not match any color on the sprite whatsoever. Then exit out of your editing program. Now edit it using Microsoft Photoeditor there is a transparancy tool at the top. Now go over to that color you made the white part of sprite and click it. That will set the transparancy. Now make it into a gif and it should be transparent.

Hey there.

First of all, I love this program. However, I'm having problems with the sprites.. If I make a sprite and save it as a .GIF, the RGB 192,192,192 colour is lost.. and therefore it looks all messed up and not transparant.

How can I fix this?
